How to write Monday etc.
Now you will learn days. You already know Monday and Sunday! You learned Monday 月 and Sunday 日. You will learn kanji Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
8月30日（月）8時30分 晴れ
今日は、カフェに行った。コーヒーを飲んで、トーストを食べた。
おいしかった。

When you say the days in Japanese, you add 曜日
